NanoBone®
NanoBone® has an extensive surface and interconnecting pores due to the deposit of unsintered hydroxylapatite in an SiO2 structure. This nano/microstructure has particularly high porosity. Proteins also adhere rapidly to the surface of the SiO2 molecules (osteoconduction). This stimulates the formation of collagen and bone.
